Activities & Area Resources

Covewood offers a wide variety of fun activities for all members of your family.

Kids Program

The Covewood Kids Program, which runs from late June until Labor Day, provides approximately four hours a day of supervised activities for children four and up. Click here to see a sample schedule. The Kids Program is free for all Covewood guests.

Boat Rentals and Waterskiing

Covewood's boat rentals include sailboats, hydro-bikes, kayaks, motor boat rentals, and canoes. Hourly, half-day and full-day water craft rentals are generally available. Covewood also offers water skiing for all levels, from the "never done it before" to the accomplished skier who may want to try out the slalom course on the lake.

Click here to see fees for all water activities.

Dry Land

If dry land adventures are more to your liking, the surrounding 1300 acres of the Adirondack Park offers miles and miles of hiking. The north woods treks range from the easy to the very challenging. Detailed maps are available at the front desk.

Covewood also offers a tennis/basketball court, pool and ping pong, horse shoe pits, and the famous Covewood ring game. These activities are all complimentary.
