Big
Moose, New York (May 1, 2000)
There's
no doubt that the centerpiece of Covewood is its Main
Lodge.
Constructed in 1924 by Earl Covey, it was the
first building of what would become the star
vacation experience on Big Moose Lake. It serves
today as a sylvan haven from the bustle of the
world that remains beyond the tree-lined
Adirondack horizon.
Arrayed about its adjacent shoreline and in the
surrounding trees are 18 cottages, all available
during the summer season, many during the
beautiful winter as well.
Choose
from among these wonderful accommodations for your
Adirondack vacation.

The Covewood Main
Lodge
|
|
Whether
you're interested in staying with us for a week
during the summer (late June through early Labor
Day), the wondrous fall for the foliage, or the
incredible white winter for activities such as
cross-country skiing, Covewood is the only place
for you.
During the summer months the historic Lodge
offers three apartments and four rooms (some with
the second floor lake-view porches seen above).
Our cottages range in size from a tiny studio
perfect for honeymooners to large multi-story cabins. All cottages have fully
equipped kitchens, gas heat, and fireplaces. You must provide their own
sheets, pillowcases, and towels; blankets and bedspreads we'll provide.
From late
June to Labor Day, the minimum length of stay for the cottages is one week;
otherwise the minimum stay is two nights. |
