Covewood Designated An Historic Place

Adirondack Great Camp Style Lodge with Fourteen Cottages on Big Moose Lake Will Be Named to National Register

Covewood was unanimously approved by the New York State Review Board this past November for listing in the State and National Register of Historic Places. This caps a nearly year-long application effort that recognizes Covewood Lodge as a historic property with "significance to the Nation, State and Community."
Covewood Lodge will join an impressive family of historic and famous sites across the country, as well as New York State. The process will be completed within the next couple months once the Commissioner of the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (of New York) and the National Park Service have completed the paperwork. We're all looking forward to the official designation of the uniqueness that is Covewood that our guests and friends have known about and backenjoyed for years.
